Amad Elia MOAM, L.Ac, received his Masters of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, where he studied under the preeminent master of Classical Chinese Medicine, Alan Uretz. The Midwest College of Oriental Medicine Acupuncture program is highly respected and unique, as well as being the oldest and richest program in North America, consisting of thousands of hours of Chinese Medical and Biomedical course work as well as extensive clinical training. The program was an ideal match for Amad’s keen interest in natural health approaches and the art of healing.
Currently he works in his private practice, Mind and Body Acupuncture, in Royal Oak, MI. Amad’s specialties are working with oncology, CNS disorders, sports injuries, other musculoskeletal conditions (low back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, arm pain, leg pain, knee pain, TMJ or TMD and headaches), stomach/digestive issues, depression and anxiety, insomnia, seasonal allergies, and women’s health issues. Amad has an extensive background in Traditional Chinese Medical diagnosis and treatment.

My intention as a health practitioner is to aid my patients towards a greater awareness of what health means for them.
